Free Spirits….The Jensen Family

The Jensen Family is one of my very favorite families! I love to hang out with them cuz I know I’m gunna have a good time. They are also one of the most down to earth, giving and loving families that I know. I learn from them all the time and I am so lucky to call them friends. It was so fun to take them to Oceanside and capture their free spirits.

She Will Go Far….Jennifer’s Senior Pictures

She CLEARLY has beauty, she has brains, she is sporty and spiritual….but mostly she is such a great and positive example to me and everyone around her. I have loved getting to know her because she is now someone special in my life. I love her and I could not be prouder of her. I will be sad when she leaves for college.

Sweet Kisses…Eric and Jessica

What I love most about new love is the little movements that are made. His hand rubbing her arm, looking into each other’s eyes and then closing them to take it all in, holding hands while walking and then coming in close for a kiss. I love seeing these sweet scenes play out in front of me.

Eric and Jessica are so natural in front of the camera. They seemed to not mind that I was there, they just were in love and didn’t care who knew it. I am so excited for them and can’t wait for their wedding. They are a beautiful couple and I really can not go wrong photographing them.

Another Awesome Senior….Cailtin

I love to do senior portraits! It is just so fun and no stress. We just goof around and try catch a little glimpse of who they are.

When I do senior portraits I always ponder the way that I felt when I was a senior…scared for what was to come, excited for the new chapter, owhelmed by all the things I really did not know (that I thought I knew), and very uncertain about what the future held for me but I was willing to learn and that helped me a lot.

I love this quote by Abraham Lincoln…

“You can have anything you want – if you want it badly enough. You can be anything you want to be, do anything you set out to accomplish if you hold to that desire with singleness of purpose.”

If I could tell these seniors anything it would be these words. My perspective is so different now and I wish that I could give them all a little perspective to calm their nerves or give them a reality check…haha…

…So this is my piece of advise for the day 🙂

Caitlin is such a wonderful, light hearted spirit. She is easy to make giggle and she doesn’t take herself to seriously….and she is beautiful! I think she will be just fine in life!
